Maybe you don't know where to look for the information you need? Or maybe you know where to look but those sources aren't available online and you aren't able to come to England to inspect them yourself? Or perhaps you just don't have the time? Don't worry, we can help.

If you're not sure whether using our services is the right thing for you, why not just phone or email us and we'll be happy to explain what we could offer. We are happy to quote for a single lookup, maybe taking as little as half an hour, or for several months worth of work.

We also understand that research can be open-ended. It can be hard to predict in advance how long things will take, or what direction enquiries might lead in, so we have a range of packages we can offer that put you in control and let you manage costs. We agree an initial budget for the research we undertake on your behalf, then do what is possible within those limits, keeping in close touch with you at all time, updating you on progress regularly. At the end, we present our results and give you some ideas for further research, and then let you decide if and how things progress from there.

We will use our knowledge of little-used specialist sources and other tricks of the trade to see if we can spot something you've missed;

• Need some information looked up? Can't get to the UK to do the research yourself? We also provide a lookup service. We're happy to quote for visiting any archive centre or library in England or Wales on your behalf.
